Lucy: "Mom, Sometimes life can be really hard."
Mom: "Oh honey, I know. What happened?"
Lucy: "Well, sometimes people say things to me that are harsh."
Mom: "Harsh? Like what?"
Lucy: "Well, like when you asked me to put on my coat, and I was laying on the floor tossing my coat in the air, and you said what are you doing laying on the floor tossing your coat in the air?"
Mom: "But Lucy, you were doing that."
Lucy: "I know it's the truth."

I can't wait to see your kids Becky! Last time I saw Lucy she was eating playdough. I can't wait to have a conversation with her. And I promise not to be harsh.
