Wub Wub

Last night around 5 PM, Isaac realized that he could make the sound "wub wub" with his mouth. He has been saying "wub wub" almost non-stop since he discovered this. I've heard that sometimes when babies learn a new skill, they just repeat it over and over to practice and perfect it. I think Isaac is doing this!
He woke up at 4 AM this morning and started saying "wub wub wub wub wub" over and over again. I nursed him, and afterwards he was wide awake just talking and talking.
When he woke up again this morning at 8 AM, I heard him talking in his crib again, and all morning we have been enjoying the "wub wub" sounds of our little baby.

I think he hears the rest of us talking together all the time and just wants to get in the conversation.

We've entered the joyous spitting phase! And it morphed into "bweh" the other day - Nathaniel and Mary had a lovely conversation about "bweh" back and forth!
