One of the highlights of our past week was Kevin's "40 Under 40" lunch. It was a really nice event, most of the other Cobalt Digital employees were there, the lunch was good (prime rib - one of my favorites that I almost never have), and they had big screens all over the room showing photos of all the winners. I think that was my favorite part. Kevin had photos of our family, playing with the kids, some of himself with Gene and Matt from Cobalt, and one of him playing paintball with the guys from St. Matt's.
I have been teasing Kevin that there were 41 nominees for the 40 Under 40! It turns out there were over 135 nominees. I was even more proud of Kevin after finding that out. After the lunch our state senator Mike Frerichs came up to Kevin to ask him about increasing the number of tech companies and tech jobs in our area, so that was pretty neat.
Ikey also had a great time!
