Yesterday on a whim I bought a magazine, Taste Of Home's Halloween Party Favorites. It turns out there are about 10 John-safe recipes inside. Score! This almost never happens! I am lucky if I can fanagle one recipe out of a magazine to work for our family.
In addition to the John-safe ones there are tons of fun fall and Halloween recipes that are easy and fun for kids.
So, this is one others might want to check out. It has a big orange cookie house with ghosts flying out on the cover.

Ooh I think I will grab a copy! Where did you get it, the grocery store? I'm not sure I've seen "Taste of Home" at our Cub, but I'll hunt around.
