Cupcakes and More

So we went to Cakes on Walnut last night. It was good but not mind blowing or anything. Jen and I tried two cupcakes, one was white chocolate macadamia and one was mocha kalhua. The mocha kalhua one tasted like tiramisu. We agreed that the frosting was very light and fluffy but bland, you got more of the texture of frosting rather than a really flavorful frosting. They were definitely good and we enjoyed ourselves there, the place is really neat inside, a great atmosphere. Thumbs down on the prices though, the cupcakes were $3.25 apiece and they weren't really that much better than a boxed mix. They were selling a "pot of tea" for $8!! Come on, a tea bag and boiling water is like 50 cents max.

Kevin and I have had a middle of the night Boo friend (aka Ikey Wikey) for the last two nights in a row. On Thursday night he woke up at 2 AM, nursed and then wanted to play for an hour! Last night, he woke up at 4:20 AM, nursed and I played with him until 5:30 AM, then he was up with Kevin for another hour. What's up Ikey, that's sleepy time!

All of my plans for today were cancelled so we have nothing do to all day. I am totally fine with that. We will get some chores done around the house and maybe go to the library after school this afternoon.
